The series ventures to the Terrace Reservoir in Monte Vista, Colorado for the inaugural Rocky Mountain Hare Scramble! Set in the golden aspens of southern Colorado, racers can expect a full off-road course with elevation in the trees. Come prepared for possible water crossings, cool temps and an incredible season finale.

Other Fees
- All racers must have a Moto-Tally Transponder – $10 (required and must be place under helmet visor, existing Moto Tally strip is okay to use if in good condition). Moto-Tally transponders typically last for multiple years if maintained properly, and are compatible with any series that also uses Moto-Tally scoring.
- All riders must be an AMA Member. Memberships are available at Registration:
- Day Pass Membership: $30 (Day Pass may credit towards Annual membership post-event)
- The first 20 people to Register for an AMA Day Pass will receive their pass at NO CHARGE thanks to our great sponsors.
- Annual Membership: $49
- All riders must run a requested and approved WHS number, or an event temp number. You may request a series number, or simply purchase a single event pre-determined temporary number at registration for $10.
- All riders are required to have a KoPilot medical ID tag, available for $15 at Registration unless you have your own.
Anything special I need to bring/know for this race?
- Gate Hours:
- Friday: 12pm-10pm
- Saturday: 7am-10pm
- Sunday: 7am- End of Event
- No Pit Riding, Minors, Alcohol or Dogs in Race Pits
- Cash, Credit Card and Venmo are accepted.
- NO Helmet Camera’s allowed. Camera’s and OTHER ACCESSORIES must be mounted somewhere other than the helmet.
- Race will be rain or shine.
- All riders may eMTB the race course when there is NOT a race in progress on that course.

The Terrain
Racers of The Rocky Mountain Hare Scramble in Monte Vista can expect mountain terrain and trails, water crossings and elevation changes. The venue sits at the base of a reservoir, where water levels may fluctuate. Racing is rain or shine!
