Round 4 heads south to Shasta Ski Park in northern California on the Cascade Range for an all-new venue to the series. Hosted by the NHHA, we are very excited to offer WHS this new addition.
General Info
What’s it going to cost me to show up and race?
- Gate and Entry fees will be available soon.
Other Fees
- All racers must have a Moto-Tally Transponder – $10 (required and must be place under helmet visor, existing Moto Tally strip is okay to use if in good condition). Moto-Tally transponders typically last for multiple years if maintained properly, and are compatible with any series that also uses Moto-Tally scoring.
- All riders must be an AMA Member. Memberships are available at Registration:
- Day Pass Membership: $20 (Day Pass may credit towards Annual membership post-event)
- Annual Membership: $49
- All riders must run a requested and approved WHS number. You may request a series number, or simply purchase a single event pre-determined temporary number at registration for $10.
Anything special I need to bring/know for this race?
- Spark Arrestors are required.
- Fuel mats are required for Pit Row
- Cash, Credit Card and Venmo are accepted.
- No Pit Riding.
- Race will be rain or shine.

The NHHA is a team of passionate racers and enthusiasts who love hare scramble racing. We have hosted our own events throughout the WHS and NHH series.

The Terrain
Racers of the Shasta Ski Park Hare Scramble will start at a base of 5,000ft elevation, set at the base of the Ski Park with trails and two track throughout the trees and elevation of the Cascade Range.
Terrain In The Area
Mount Shasta Ski Park is a ski resort located in northern California which has winter and summer operations. Winter operations include skiing & snowboarding, tubing, a backcountry cabin program, lessons, rentals, and events. In the summer they offer Scenic Chairlift Rides, Mountain Biking, and Disc Golf. They are located east of Interstate 5 along SR 89 between the city of Mount Shasta and the town of McCloud. The ski area lies about 6 mi (9.7 km) south of the summit of 14,179 ft (4,322 m) Mount Shasta, the second highest volcano in the Cascade Range behind Mount Rainier. It straddles several small volcanic buttes on the lower southern flanks of the massive stratovolcano, with 3 triple chairlifts running to the top
